Bryan Falzon is staying with Mqabba F.C.

Mqabba FC are pleased to announce the confirmation of Bryan Vella as our Minors coach for the upcoming season!

Last season, he was entrusted with our Under 19 side, after having coaching experiences with Mgarr United, Kirkop and Siggiewi.

Under Coach Bryan’s guidance, the Reds kept Section B status by winning 6 matches and drawing 4.

Coach Bryan is also in the process of obtaining his UEFA A coaching licence!

Karl Ghigo stays a Red

We are delighted to announce that Karl Ghigo will form part of our senior squad next season.

Karl, 21, is a product of our nursery and made his senior debut last year against Gzira United during the match of the FA Trophy. Karl has been a vital part of the Youths squad midfield last season.

He brings determination and skill to the game and we know that Karl’s attributes will be an asset to the squad over the coming years. We look forward to seeing his continued improvement in the years to come.

Denilson joins Mqabba F.C. on a season loan deal

Mqabba are today delighted to announce the loan signing of Denilson Borg from Swieqi United until the end of the season.

Denilson is a young player that we all really believe in. He has consistently impressed throughout the Youth age groups and risen to every challenge that he has faced.

Denilson is extremely dedicated; he has the work-rate and attitude to keep improving every day and succeed at Mqabba.

Welcome Matthias Ablett

Mqabba Football Club is delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of defender Matthias Ablett.

The 22-year-old has made regular appearances in the Challenge League with Senglea Athletic last season, impressing at both centre back and right back.

Ablett played for Valletta FC youth team after having also had experiences with the Qormi FC youth teams as well as Mosta FC in the past.

Welcome Larens Vella

Mqabba are today delighted to announce the loan signing of Larens Vella from Rabat Ajax until the end of the season.

Larens last season played 21 games with Rabat Ajax in the Maltese Challenge League ,scoring 3 goals. He also made his Under 21 National debut last year against Lituania in a UEFA European Qualifying Match.

Vella will add a lot to our squad and provide even more competition for the players in the forward areas.

Luca Gatt is A Red

Mqabba Football Club is delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of 23 year old midfielder Luca Gatt.

A product of Mosta FC, Gatt made his Premier League debut when he joined Floriana FC. Eventually he also had experiences with Hamrun Spartans Football Club and Luqa Football Club.Luca was part of Marsa squad last year.

Luca has all of the technical attributes needed to perform in this team and has the personality required to succeed at Mqabba.

Jake Davies signs for Mqabba

Mqabba Football Club is delighted to confirm the arrival of Jake Davies.

For the last four seasons Davies, who is a product of Floriana Football Club, has been part of Mgarr United Football Club that gained promotion to the Maltese Challenge League.

The 25-year-old centre-back is a versatile defender and will add quality and depth to our squad.

Arsene will stay

Mqabba F.C. has reached an agreement with 23-year-old defender Arsene Rye Cilia Mumford for season 2022/2023.

Cilia Mumford played for Sliema Wanderers FC, Hibernians F.C. and Pieta ‘Hotspurs FC in youth categories.

The right full-back has the right work ethic, talent and mentality to play for our club and he fits exactly the type of player that we are looking to bring into the squad to help us improve and push on further. We are delighted he has signed with us, and we look forward to continuing his development so far.

Welcome to Mqabba Byron Madu

Mqabba FC is delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of 19-year-old Byron Madu .

For the last three seasons Madu, who is a product of San Gwann Football Nursery, has been part of Grays Athletic Football Club teams, where he was part of the under-19 team. Last season h even played for the main squad of the English club.

Madu is able to play both as a striker and as a lateral midfielder.
